Sidekick with Android?

I live in New Zealand and want to buy an unlocked sidekick 2 (there cheap now) off eBay. Since I don't live in the US I cant buy apps etc from Tmobile so I wanted to know if you download the SDK and get a dev key from danger if it would be possible to delete the sidekick original OS and replace it with googles new open source Android OS?|||Nope Danger Can Detect It And They Will Shut Off the Phone
