Programming on Android?

I heard about androiD and was known if I know how to make the best use of this OS, the phonE is all miNe!





I am newbie in programming. After finishing HTML, I am on Python this daYS.





I waNNa know, is anDROiD a total different platform to programme? What language it use? Is there a language named AndroiD? Or it uses something else? What I gotta do or learn if I cherish to make programmes and edit the whole thing. . . You know what I mean right?





That sdk is 90mb! And it will take 5 hours to download! That's why i'm asking!|||android uses java
