In eclipse i cant build a target when i make a new android project?

at the top it says an sdk target must be specified but it wont let me on build target|||the sdk target is the minimum version of android required to run your application. Right-click on your project, click properties. Click Android and select your target. 1.6 is acceptable for most general applications.
